Getting to Llanberis

The Snowdon 500 charity event starts and finishes in the town of Llanberis, directly below Mt Snowdon.

For those travelling to the event from the north west of England or the Midlands it is feasible to get there and back and do the climb in one day.

For those travelling from further afield a stay overnight is recommended, particularly as the Snowdonia National Park and Llanberis has so much to offer in addition to the mountain. Click here for a listing of accommodation in the Llanberis area.
